Reminder: Hospital Exposure Required May 03 2006 Notice to those few nurses who are waiting to depart for
the US and who do not yet have the required hospital
exposure.
Please be reminded once again that you have to have
sufficient hospital exposure before you are allowed to
leave for your assignment in the US. Although you might
not feel the need for such hospital exposure, we cannot
emphasize enough to you the necessity of such
experience.
Consider that when you come to the US you will
encounter a totally new environment: new patients, new
equipment, new regulations. Everything will hit you like
a ton of bricks. You will be overwhelmed.
Imagine if you have not had any relevant hospital
experience prior to coming to the US. You will find
yourself floating in a maze for some time before you
find your feet on the ground. That will quadruple the
tension that you will be experiencing in the first few
months that you will be in the US.
Your employer has learned through experience with a
few earlier recruits that a prior hospital experience is a
must. It will prevent a lot of the aggravations that the
employer and the nurses had experienced due to the
nurses' lack of hospital experience prior to coming
over.
Let me just point out that this is not a common situation
because most of the nurses that Rymek has deployed in
the US have excellent background. |
